Bookselling Scotland

Bookselling Scotland represents booksellers in Scotland and works to promote bookselling and bookshops across Scotland.

We host a Scottish Book Trade Conference for Scottish booksellers and publishers, in partnership with Publishing Scotland, and also several digital events including Publisher Pitches and workshops.

Scottish Book Trade Conference – Thursday 18th May 2023

We are pleased to announce that bookings are now open for our 2023 Scottish Book Trade Conference. This will be taking place on Thursday 18th May at Central Hall, 2 West Tollcross, Edinburgh, EH3 9BP.

After the Conference, there will be a bookseller dinner kindly sponsored by Octopus Publishing Group.

Bookselling Scotland Digital
In 2020, we launched our virtual events programme for Scottish members. This has mostly consisted of seasonal Publisher Pitches, as well as talks covering topics such as Running Virtual Events.
