Bookselling Ireland represents booksellers in Ireland, and is run by a committee of booksellers, supported by The Booksellers Association. Bookselling Ireland hosts an annual Book Trade Conference, usually held in March, in addition to several smaller events. Please read further for details of BI events.
Bookselling Ireland Digital
In 2020, we launched our BI Fridays for our Irish members. These digital sessions on Zoom happened fortnightly with the aim to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing Irish booksellers. Our previous sessions covered topics such as Grants and Support; What Brexit means for Booksellers; Running Virtual Events; Selling Online and more.

The Irish Book Trade Conference
The Irish Book Trade Conference in March 2020 was postponed due to Covid-19, and will now take place on the 11th March 2022 at the Radisson Blu Dublin Airport.
The conference is supported by Bookselling Ireland and Publishing Ireland.

BI Autumn Half Day Conference
We will be hosting a special Bookselling Ireland Half Day Autumn conference on the 15th October, 2021, at The Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport. The event is sponsored by An Post
We are restricting 'in person' numbers, however the sessions will be live streamed and recorded for all members to watch.
